What Lies Above

The artwork draws inspirations from my memories of cloud formation during recent road trips in central Tasmania. I find the subject of clouds captivating for the fact they appear to be somewhat constant yet is forever changing. Observing clouds in Tasmania was particularly quite meditative. With this work, I almost feel my memory is capsuled within the small surfaces of two wood blocks.
