The Best Dog in the World

Rescued vintage papers, and found ephemera directly influence my collage work. Colour, tone and composition are strong elements in my collages, no doubt because of my training as a graphic designer. Created from a found image and text from a 1950s Children’s Annual, this work evokes memories of happy children, carefree days and a simpler life. When a Boy and his dog were the best friends in the world. You can’t help but smile.
