Ocean Air

“Nothing is quite so refreshing as the smell of the salt air, the sound of the waves and the enjoyment of the patterns and colours of the water as it ebbs away and flows back to engulf my toes.
I want to evoke these experiences and memories by avoiding realism and enhancing through abstraction, the intensity of these transient moments.
Much of my work is based on a heightened awareness to the intangible.
